Can individual flats or shops sign up?
We contract with developers, owners, associations and institutions. Occupants of a connected building get cooling through the owner, with optional sub-metering.
What is the contract like?
Cooling is supplied under a multi-year supply agreement based on contracted TR and metered use. Term and prices are set per project.
Do I need to replace my AC units?
Usually not. Your indoor units connect to the chilled-water loop through a heat exchanger. The survey confirms what to keep.
Is it really off-grid?
The plant can run on its own solar and hydrogen supply. Where land is limited, clean power from outside the city can be wheeled through the grid for a fee. We state the setup for each project.
What if the sun is not shining?
Stored chilled water, batteries and the hydrogen fuel cell cover cloudy periods and nights.
How big does a project need to be?
District cooling works best with several buildings or a large load close together. Tell us your location and tonnage and we will advise.
